Jasper is a four season destination in the summer months you can bike, canoe or kayak, hike, golf, fish, go horseback riding or white water rafting.

The winter months brings the famous powder and outstanding skiing and boarding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling or dog sledding.

In the town of Jasper you'll find boutique shops, art galleries, gift and
souvenir shops, sport shops, cafes and many restaurants and cuisine’s to choose from. There are museums you can wander through or go for a round of 18 hole golf at Jasper Park Golf Course.

Jasper National Park is over 10,000 Km’s of breathtaking wilderness making it ideal for scenery and wildlife spotting.  Either by road or on a hiking trail keep your eyes open for: elk, mountain sheep, mountain goat, black bear, grizzle bear and wolves.

Columbia Icefield and Icefield Centre is a world famous tourist attraction and is located between Banff and Jasper. The Columbia Icefield forms the largest area of ice in the Rockies.  Go on an exciting 90 minute ice adventure on an specially equipped all-terrain vehicle.  Call for more information: 1-877-ice-ride

Athabasca Falls located 25 Km’s south of Jasper on Hwy 93 you’ll find an amazing waterfall display. The force of these waters being pushed down a narrow gorge is an incredible site.  The Athabasca River is popular for white river rafting. Patricia and Pyramid Lakes is a popular day trip from Jasper.  The lakes are known for its windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. Equipment rentals are available for boards, boats, canoes and kayaks.

Maligne Lake Drive is located off Hwy 16 and is approximately 5 Km north of Jasper.   The drive to the lake is spectacular with view points along the way. Take a boat cruise on Maligne Lake.  Call for more information 780-852-3370 or Toll Free: 1-866-MALIGNE

Medicine Lake is located 32 km’s south east off Jasper and accessed from a side road off Maligne Lake Drive.  Medicine Lake is know for it's changing water levels due to the underground channels and caves.

Miette Hot Springs is located 61 Km's north of Jasper in the scenic Fiddle Valley.  The springs are the hottest in the Rockies reaching 54 Celcius.

Jasper Tramway is just a short drive south of Jasper and off Hwy 93.
Tram cars start the tour at a base elevation of 1304 m and takes visitors to an elevation of 2277 m.  You'll experience incredible views of mountain ranges, glacial fed lakes, the Athabasca River and and town of Jasper. For more information call 780-852-3093 Toll free: 1-866-850-TRAM
