As you arrive in Vernon along Hwy. 97 you’ll notice the turquoise colored Kalamalka Lake. 10 Km’s before Vernon turn off on College Way and examine this beautiful lake.
When the Kalamalka Lake warms in the summer the sunlight reflects off crystals from the limestone to give the lake a spectacular blue-green colour. As you can imagine, the lake is very popular for all kinds of water sports like swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, tubing and fishing.
