First opened in 1914 as one of the Canadian Pacific Railroad hotels,
the Fairmont Palliser has become Calgary's landmark historic hotel.
The Palliser is located in the heart of downtown Calgary and is
connected by the Skywalk to the Calgary Convention Centre, the
Calgary Tower and the Glenbow Museum. The 405 guestrooms have just
been through a 28 million restoration and are appointed with new
carpets, upholstery, and furniture. All of the rooms are equipped
with the latest business amenities and entertainment features such
as Sony PlayStations. Guests can dine in the Rimrock Room, with
vaulet ceilings, period murals, and massive stone fireplace.All
guests also have access to the fully-equipped Health Club.
