The two-diamond Lobstick Lodge is nestled below the pine forests of
the Pyramid Bench, one block from Connaught Drive. Its name is
derived from trees which had all but the top few branches cut off,
called lobsticks, used as trail markers and rendezvous points by the
early voyageurs nearly two hundred years ago. The hotel is four
miles from Pyramid Lakes and Jasper Tramway, six miles from Jasper
Park Golf Course, and nine miles from Maligne Canyon.
The
Country Inn Family Restaurant is a casual place to enjoy breakfast
and/or supper. Skyline Lounge provides a relaxing fireplace next to
which to enjoy your favorite beverages. If not exploring the various
nearby activities, why not enjoy the hotel's indoor pool, hot tubs,
steam room, sauna, or patio. Lobstick Lodge also offers laundry
facilities, valet service, and gift shop.
Lobstick Lodge's 139
guestrooms are all furnished with irons and complimentary coffee and
tea. Kitchenette suites are available.
