Clifton E French Regional Park This 362-acre urban park is used primarily for recreational activities and it also has beautiful natural features. There is a 900-acre lake where you might see beaver, muskrat, turtle, ducks and spotted sandpiper. White-tailed deer, red fox, woodchuck, rabbit, great horned owl and red tailed hawk are generally seen in the area as well. There is also a sandy swimming beach with restrooms, changing rooms, kids playground and a snack bar. There are volleyball courts, a public boat launch and a picnic area with grills. Park visitors can rent bicycles, rowboats, canoes, paddle boats, and fishing poles. Winter activities  include cross-country skiing, skating rink and sledding.
