Province House National Historic Site is where the 1864 Charlottetown Conference was held, which led to the formation of Canada a nation. Prince Edward Island National Park has 40km of coastline leading onto red cliffs, pink and white sandy beaches, and mild seas, this park offers unbeatable sport and vacationing facilities and has an educational visitors centre for those interested in its marine wildlife.
East Point Lighthouse - The islands easternmost point is home to a 19th century lighthouse with a restored radio room. Now unmanned and fully automatic, it is open to visitors
